The Fuskies!

I just finished watching the exciting game between the Huskies and Notre Dame. What made it really exciting was the HORRIBLE officiating. Instead of having the Irish lose because they would be down by 11 with three minutes left, they decided to alter the outcome. Taking a look at the replay of the touchdown, it was a touchdown. Pretty irrefutable, however, they refuted it. I will give the Irish credit though, for SIX STRAIGHT plays they held the Huskies at bay from the ONE INCH line.
So, that gave the Irish a five point deficit, to which they promptly went down and scored a touchdown, UP BY ONE. So of course they had to go for two. What happen next defies good officiating. They run a power fullback PUSH up the middle. The back is stopped at the THREE yard line but thanks to some resourceful teammates who PULLED defenders off while other teammates, TUGGED at the running back, they RUGBIED him in. NO CALL, TWO POINTS!
Washington went down and scored a field goal to tie and then lost in OT. It was some horrible officiating that made it a game to remember! God bless the network media that has a stake in the Irish winning. We don't want to have bad television and with that contract they have for the next thousand years to show every insufferable minute of Irish football, we can't have ND being a bad team.
